It's very exciting to work with an artist, especially an iconic singer like Chaka Khan. She decided to step out and start her own label. It's an honor to have played a role in launching the next chapter in her life. She wrote "Love Myself" to reflect her past and the woman she is now. The music video will be release late 2016.

Working with new stories is always a way to broaden my understanding of life, in this case, chocolates! Romeo Chocolates is an artisan start-up company focusing on single-origin chocolates, which means they work directly with the farmers. They know exactly where every ingredient is sourced from to make a beautiful chocolate confection. Romeo wanted to document his journey to the Philippines to learn about culture, family and chocolate. After countless amounts of samples here is what I created. Yum.

Antthony Originals is a women's clothing brand that has been around since the 1990s and it's still going strong on HSN (Home Shopping Network). Working with this company has been a fun and very creative. I get to arrive on set and let my creativity take control. I directed four of their commercials that have appeared on HSN.

When I started to produce media for this company, I learned how 3-D printing can empower a new generation of people to think outside of the box. We are no longer limited to lego blocks, we can now create our own toys and see ideas come alive. Robo 3D asked me to document the stories of people who use 3D printing beyond making small items. In this story, we share the life of a family, the Walkers, who use it to teach their blind daughter fractions. As an able-bodied person, even I sometimes take my sight for granted. This project taught me how to think about my senses and how others use different means to educate their loved ones. Watch the short documentary here.
Most recently I have directed their latest commercial that will be appearing in all the Best Buy stores across the country!

iHIP, a headphone design company, approached me about creating a video commercial with behind-the-scene shots. This was an opportunity to combine great visuals with a peek at how the photo shoot was created. I enjoy sharing experiences behind the camera where creativity is being caltivated. The concept to use body paint as a means to communicate a "warrior."

I directed and created two online commercials for Orion Clothing. I got to hit the ground running. The concept is to capture the emotional value clothing gives us. I decided to keep it simple by working the the models to portray the meaning of happiness.

Geary's Beverly Hills has been the "go-to" spot for luxury gifts. I worked with the brand on a five-day video shoot to capture product, as well as direct and produce an online series about top chefs using high-endplating. The media series highlighted three top chefs from Hotel Bel-Air, Beverly Hills Four Seasons and the Executive Chef from the Patina Group. One video is behind the scenes and other a sample of the chef series.

"South Asian Network was founded in 1990 to provide an open forum for people of South Asian origin to gather and discuss social, economic, and political issues affecting the community, with the goal of raising awareness, engagement, and advocacy among community members leading to an empowered and active community."
SAN is a grassroots community organization and they asked me to tell the story about Domestic Violence against women within the community. I took a grassroots approach to write and direct an original piece that spoke directly to the abusers. I developed the script by inviting survivors of abuse to share their stories with me. From there, I wrote a script based on actual events and asked one survivor to play the lead role. The PSA appeared on South Asian channels and movie screens.
